Welcome to ICBCB 2025

2025 13th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (ICBCB 2025) which is organized by Seoul National University will be held during Feb. 27-Mar. 02, 2025 in Seoul, South Korea. ICBCB conference series will be held annually to provide an interactive forum for presentation and discussion on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

Bioinformatics and Computational Biology represent exciting new interdisciplinary disciplines that leverage the recent revolution in computing and informatics to further advance biomedical research and ignite the next generation of data-driven healthcare. The increasing availability of many types of biological data requires an associated increase in the scale and sophistication of the automated systems and tools that enable biomedical researchers to take full advantage of such valuable data. The need for Bioinformatics reflects the radical changes that the biological sciences have undergone over the last decade. As more biologically important biological elements and their roles in complex biological systems are discovered, it is apparent that integrating computational research and experimental work will be crucial in studying and understanding these discoveries.

ICBCB conference series aims to provide an interactive forum for computational researchers, biomedical scientists, and healthcare providers to share their findings in this domain and exchange ideas about how to develop new innovative ideas to accelerate the advancement of biomedical research. The conference welcomes participants from all over the world and from all related disciplines who are interested in developing collaborative projects and exploring new opportunities in these exciting scientific areas. The conference provides a perfect opportunity for its participants to establish relationships with research groups in South Korea and other regions around the world.

Paper Publication

In the past a few years, the papers of ICBCB have been published in Conference Proceedings, which is indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

After peer review process, all accepted papers of ICBCB 2025 with proper registration and presentation, will be published in ICBCB 2025 Conference Proceedings, which will be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

 

Best Paper Award

The Conference Committee will select 2 best papers among all accepted papers to grant Best Paper Award. The result will be announced at the dinner banquet on February 28, 2025.

About Presentation: ICBCB 2025 welcomes both oral and poster presentations with high quality. The publisher reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from Digital Library), if the paper is not presented at the conference. "Pay to publish" is not allowed by the publisher. So at least one author of a paper must show up and present the paper at the conference. If you are author who wants to do oral or poster presentation without paper publication, please submit your presentation title and abstract to the Conference Secretary before the submission deadline for further review.
