2025 13th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (ICBCB 2025) was held during Feb. 27-Mar. 02, 2025 in Seoul, South Korea ICBCB 2025 was Co-sponsored by co-sponsored by Seoul National University and IEEE, this conference will bring together computational researchers, biomedical scientists, and healthcare providers from around the globe to discuss the latest research findings and innovative ideas in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology.
There are more than 120 experts and scholars from Germany, UK, USA, China,Canada,Japan,France,Republic of Korea, Thailand,Turkey,Malaysia,Germany,India,Ireland,Philippines,Iran,Palestine,Italy, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Ireland, Lithuania, Burkina Faso, and other countries and regions attended the conference. The aim of ICBCB 202 is to provide a platform for all the participants in a constructive discussion on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology and related topics.
During the conference, the Local Organizing Chair - Prof. Taesung Park from Seoul National University, South Korea delivered Welcome Address, and the General Chair - Prof. Ming Chen from Zhejiang University, China made the opening remarks.Prof. Ki Chon from University of Connecticut, USA, Chair Prof. Ying Xu from Southern University of Science and Technology, China, and Prof. Bin He from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, shared their research works by keynote speeches.
Prof. Jose Nacher from Toho University, Japan, Assoc. Prof. Roberto C. Sotero from University of Calgary, Canada, Assoc. Prof. Sung-Joon Park from The University of Tokyo, Japan, Assoc. Prof. Jin-Ku Lee from Seoul National University, South Korea, and Prof. Ovidiu Radulescu from University of Montpellier, France delivered invited talks.
Seven oral sessions and one poster session were successfully held under the joint efforts of session chairs and all presenters. They are broadly grouped in topics on “Medical Imaging and Biomedical Image Processing”, “Disease Related Genomics and Gene Sequence Analysis”, “Computer Aided Drug Discovery and Molecular Docking Simulation”, “Biomedical Signal Analysis & Machine Learning Models for Disease Diagnosis and Prediction”, “Biomedical Materials and Biomedical Technology”, “Proteomics and Intermolecular Interactions”, “Advancements in AI and Machine Learning for Medical Diagnostics and Healthcare Applications” and poster session “Precision Medicine & Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Technology”.
